The thyroid gland is known as the “source of our understanding”; it is directly connected to the Vishuddha Chakra (throat chakra). Here lie the roots of the truth we communicate to the outside world, whether we are loyal and true to ourselves and convey this purity to the outside world, or whether we allow our mind to filter this truth.
